Michael Robbins is a New York-based photographer who aspires to capture the beauty and mystery of the urban landscape. Every place has its own palette, and Michael's New York seems best represented in black and white, where the geometry and the form take pre-eminence and where time is suspended.
All of the images represented on this website are from scans of original, archivally processed, silver gelatin prints which the photographer creates himself in a conventional darkroom.
His work has been shown in the Henry Gregg Gallery in Dumbo, Brooklyn and most recently his work was selected for inclusion in the group show entitled "Drawn to the Water" at the Photoville Festival in Brooklyn, N.Y.
